      TOUR DESCRIPTION<\/h3>\n

      Our journey begins with a departure (09:00 – 09:10) from your hotel to the Old Village of \u00c7at<\/strong>. Here, we embark on a 5-hour hike<\/strong> through two magnificent U-shaped valleys bordered by high cliffs.<\/p>\n

      The walls of these cliffs are covered with intricate dovecotes (pigeon houses)<\/strong>, some rising 3, 4, 5, or even 8 floors high. You will notice some dovecotes are colored from the outside; this was done to attract pigeons, whose droppings have been highly valued as fertilizer since the Byzantine period.<\/p>\n

      A unique highlight of this tour is our lunch: we will picnic in a cave<\/strong> nestled within the valley, enjoying nature in its purest form.<\/p>\n

      DERINKUYU UNDERGROUND CITY<\/h3>\n

      After the hike, a 34 km drive takes us to the largest underground city in Cappadocia: Derinkuyu<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      • History:<\/strong> Dating back to the 8th and 7th centuries BC.<\/li>\n
      • Discovery:<\/strong> Discovered by chance in 1963, it remains one of the most fascinating archaeological sites in the region.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
